SeaBin Project at Kentmorr Marina

Chase O’Malley, local Eagle Scout from Troop 1631, and his incredible project with the SeaBin company! Chase showed us how to operate the SeaBin and how to record the data. We will be at The Kentmorr Marina each month, logging the collected debris! Today we found an immense amount of Styrofoam, a straw, plastic water bottle, and tons of micro and foam plastics less than 5 mm.

What we need now from all of you is your help! Please donate to his GoFundMe Campaign to raise $12k so he can build and install a 2nd SeaBin at Kentmorr Marina!!! He is a game changer and our little island needs this badly. Not only does this project help to clean up our waterways and Chesapeake Bay, it continues to build awareness around our pollution problems!

Help us out and donate to Chase today!
