About the Event
Throughout 2019 the Chesapeake and Coastal Service is pleased to offer monthly “Trash Talks” designed to spotlight
the serious impacts of the trash that enters our waters and oceans and becomes “marine debris." Join KIBCU President and co-founder, Kristin Weed, and DNR for a discussion about land and water debris on Kent Island.
Trash Talks are open to department staff and the public, with the goal of raising awareness about marine debris and some of the local, state, and regional solutions. Please bring a friend or colleague and “let’s talk trash!”
